Providing Structure and Sustainability to an Affordable Simulated Participant Program

This workshop highlights the successes, discusses the challenges, and examines best practices from a successful simulated participant (patient actor) program first developed at the University of Delaware in 2009. We will highlight ensuring standardization, teaching your SP’s to give quality feedback, and building a sustainable program. This workshop will be beneficial to people incorporating simulated participants into their simulations and wanting to get the most out of their program.

Our workshops are highly recommended

"This workshop had the most relevant information that I've received at a conference in 12 years! I would've invited a lot more of my friends and colleagues if I knew how much it focused on educational content and not product sales."

Yvette Mathesen, University of Arizona

"Your keynote was so well received, participants remarked to me at the end of the day it really impacted their debriefing techniques and the way they will approach student interactions."

Melanie Cason MUSC College of Nursing
